For all of us who are "so so busy" blah blah blah, let's keep this in mind:
"Don't say you don't have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Pasteur, Michaelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson, and Albert Einstein." H. Jackson Brown
Humbling, ain't it?
so, once again modern advances and technology are to blame. we spend time with email and calls, dealing with all forms of traffic, following world events, and managing projects to an extent that has become increasingly more hectic and fast-paced over time. how did those great people deal with their distractions? it's probably all relative. now when people tell me they are "too busy", i take it personally (but not necessarily negatively). they are simply prioritizing and i may be a lesser priority than some other thing at the moment. that's ok. i do it too---when i'm disciplined.

(sigh) Don't remind me. I feel like I never have enough time. But I am reminded to think that we all have 24 hours in a day. It's what we do with each and every minute that matters.
